These terms cover the Cleanerly app and website. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.

What Cleanerly is

Cleanerly is a booking platform. Customers use it to find house cleaners and request times on their calendars. Cleaners use it to list their services, prices and hours and to manage bookings. Cleanerly doesn’t clean homes, and cleaners on Cleanerly are independent businesses, not Cleanerly employees or agents.

Accounts

• You must be 18 or older to create an account.
• Give accurate information and keep your password to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete account).

Bookings

• A booking request isn’t confirmed until the cleaner accepts it. The cleaner can accept or decline.
• Either side can cancel a requested or confirmed booking in the app before it starts. Please cancel as early as you can.
• Customers pay the cleaner directly for the cleaning, using a payment method the cleaner accepts. Cleanerly isn’t a party to that payment and doesn’t handle refunds or disputes about the work. Sort those out directly with each other.
• We don’t currently run background checks on cleaners. Use your own judgment, as you would hiring anyone for your home.

For cleaners

• You’re responsible for your listing being accurate (services, prices, hours and the area you serve) and for the work you do, including any licenses, insurance and taxes that apply to your business.
• Our current plan for cleaners is $20 a month plus a small one-time fee for each new client who finds you on Cleanerly and books. Bookings from clients you bring yourself never cost extra. Billing is handled on our website, not in the app, and we’ll tell you the actual price before you’re ever charged anything.

Using Cleanerly

• Don’t post false or misleading information, harass anyone, or use Cleanerly for anything illegal.
• Don’t submit automated or fake accounts, signups or bookings, or try to disrupt or break the service.
• We may remove listings or close accounts that break these terms.

Launching area by area

We’re starting in Thousand Oaks. We can’t promise when, or whether, we’ll open in your area, or which features we’ll offer.

Emails

If you ask for an invite, we’ll email you about our launch. You can stop these emails at any time.

Ideas you send us

If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

Disclaimers

Cleanerly is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee any cleaner’s availability, quality or conduct, or any customer’s. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens during a cleaning arranged through Cleanerly.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page.
